No one with anything to offer the world goes into politics. This is nothing new.

On second thought, a few have, but they quickly get shot down for not upholding the illusions mentioned earlier (Russia/Iran/Afghanistan threats). People in general don't like to hear anything that contradicts their current understandings.

For example, even if I were passionate enough about politics and bringing about positive change to our government, I'd personally stand no chance on the basis that I'm not Christian. That alone tells you some things.

I am honestly, totally 100% certain it's going to be business as usual (foreign policies), either way. And always have been.

quote me on this next year.

There are some differences. For example, McCain wants to keep focused on killing people in Iraq. Obama on the other hand, wants to focus more on killing people in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The debate was 50 / 50

They both made strong arguments for being commander in chief of the United States - it wasn't as lop-sided as I thought it would be

Obama likes scientists... You mean he invites them to dinner? What does that mean?

Obama mouths platitudes about funding education. Newsflash, there aint no money to fund anything and month by month the quality scientific/technical jobs are being shipped out of the country. Engineers are graduating college with fewer and fewer opportunities for working in their field.

The current administration has basically hobbled medical research. Stem cell, aids etc. They grossly underfund progress and education in science.

Yeah man, we don't have a whole lot of money, but we gotta make due with the better choice for prez regardless. Vote Obama

I don't care who they vote for - I just wish the US would stop interfering with the rest of the world and keep themselves to themselves.

Sadly, it won't make any difference to those of us in the wider world - McAma or Obain, we'll still get the spread of US style 'Democracy'

I feel sorry for you Yanks if McCain gets in, that man is one seriously fucked up individual, why would anyone vote in a pensioner who has absolutely no grip on reality. The cunt is totally devoted to military force to get his own way and rambles on about Vietnam this and Vietnam that.

If Obama wins, which i hope he does, then he best wear a bullet proof vest where ever he goes as he is a walking target for assasination attempts. He is black and pretty much 2/3's of americans hate black people. fact.

4: Will the world end?
Personally I've given up all hope in mankind so this sounds pretty cool. Palin will nuke the world back to the stone age with the help of Israel, Iran, Pakistan, England, Russia etc.
Mankind is a failed program, we get to the edge of success and fuck it all up being selfish pricks. I'm personally very embarrassed that the first minority with a crack at being prez has sold out the middle east, and continues our retarded foreign policy.

So fuck mankind, we don't deserve to get peace and prosperity because we collectively don't want to give it. You get what you give.
