Is there really any reason for Abs calling it RC2 instead of Beta number xxx..?
Seems to me that the problems are growing in numbers rather than shrinking.
Looks to me (and I have mentioned that upon of Live 8 initial release), that version 8 of Live was NOT ready for final release and sadly nothing has changed since...
Permanent beta springs to mind (again)...

In the 8.1.1 thread you're saying you have no issues. Are you going by experience on this one?

Its called an RC to imply they plan on ending this and to distinguish their current bug fixing effort from beta releases. In earlier beta's they made a point of mentioning that those beta's weren't part of their special effort yet.
