absolutely!
I was gonna post a screen-snapshot, but the windows-printer does not capture the mousepointer
It's the darker grey in between the bar-numbers and the overview.
up/down is mouse-centered zooming
left/right is, well left & right

Here's a little something I found in another post. Thanks TRoyP.
"the idea was, what if we wanted to start a song with rubato feel, or looser timing, and bring the steady rhythm in later.
So, I learned how to use the Tap Tempo button...and discovered this neat feature: If you tap 4 times, Live will start the scene you're on at the downbeat of the next measure. So, I can tap at whatever tempo the band is playing, and Live will start without missing a beat, so to speak.
I know that's not much, but it was a big deal when I first discovered it. Hope it helps someone else."

I just noticed:
below the overview, but above the arrangement, that little grey area....
move your mouse there, behold the looking glass,
click+hold+drag = zoom zoom zoom!

"
(for arrangement-view srolling/zooming without having to ask for mousewheel implementation8which i'm asking for anyway))
...for real?
hahahahaha... that made me laugh

Missing Samples anyone?
When samples are missing, you can set a folder/ location for Live to search in...
Click on that pesky Orange/ Yellow bar "samples are missing. Please click her to learn more"
Side panel opens on Right... Missing Samples list
Click on "Tell me more"
Open Automatic Search (press little triangle to the right)
Deselect the 'search' in Project and Library - no use searching where they are not.
and set the Search Folder to the exact folder/ location you know the samples are in.
Narrowing a search like this has saved tons of time for me.
Hope it Helps.

Here's one i discovered this week.
On the clip view for an audio file, above the edit and save buttons there's the file name.
If you click it, the browser opens up, in the location of that file.
Quite handy sometimes.

Really?
Awesome. That is infact one small thing I was trying to do recently. I would always just refer to the path name that appears in the very bottom horizontal box when hovering the cursor over the clip file name.
Thanks

"warp from here straight"
too many people have been asking me lately.
THAT is how you get rid of the shit ton of yellow markers when you're warping.
