I'm binging on "golden girls"

Cripes, I didn't realize how "racy" it was.

I was just telling someone how I've been keeping the SyFy channel on at night when I crash and I've found Helix compelling. I'm not focusing all my attention on it but it seems like that channel, despite some of the horrible B movies it shows (but how nice it must be for the students that makes them), has some good original programming.

They did Children of Dune and BSG, and both were awesome. Everyonce in awhile they still do a cool new show too.

Well, it's not that they don't have good stuff. But FFS they completely have taken the "vibe" that "helix" had and ruined it.

SPOILER ALERT:

So they find a crazy virus that isn't nardick (or however you spell it) and then trace it back to some island and then they are like "well, we'll just stay here two weeks" w/o food, water, lodging or anything else. Then they somehow find a cult that let's them "stay" and the lead from the arctic version is some assassin now AND NOW there is a baby that is 15 months overdue.......oh man......

Been checking out the How We Got Here series on AHC (American Heroes Channel. Again, any country outside the US have an entire channel dedicated to how awesome they are mostly based on their military?). The episodes start with the creation of something we now take for granted that ultimately ended up being game changing and awesome globally.

PROPAGANDA AT ITS BEST SPOILER. Latest episode covered Levi’s jeans that they claimed became the international symbol of American freedom and rebellion from the working class to cowboys to bikers to rockers to current day tech company driven corporate work clothes. Outside the US wearing jeans became the symbol of rebelling against oppressive governments where jeans were mostly an expensive black market item and it went as far as saying even in current times the people under the most oppressive governments don’t typically wear jeans. 8O

If you're a worker at an Apple manufacturing plant in China, and wear jeans to work, they will beat you mercilessly and then throw you off the roof.

As it should be.

I definitely need to get back to Helix but one of the things that bugged me is that somebody starts acting crazy and dangerous and no one bothers to just pop a cap in his ass immediately.

ffs.

IF I'm ever in a dangerous situation and some dude starts acting all bitchy he's the first guy that's going down, toot sweet. That's what's great about Walking Dead. Rick is now at the point of kinda giving someone a first chance but now has no hesitation to take the fucker out when he even looks crosseyed at someone.

BOOM

"Hi, your acting all crazy and you probably have a dangerous virus but I'm just going to put you in this room here and then act fucking shocked when you lose your shit and attack someone and everything starts going to shit."
