Haven't waded through the whole thread so forgive me if that has been asked before:

Any chance of a LP95 script getting developed for the APC Mini ?

That'd be wonderful.

:)

I doubt it. The code for the APC Mini is derived from the APC Key 25, and the programmer avoided separate codes so he wouldn't have to implement Session Overview; I looked at the Python code, and it was just dumb, IMO.

SRACEN at Isotonik will have Session Overview available soon on the APC Mini, but the scale stuff really isn't worth it; a standard Launchpad with '95 is very powerful indeed; you just don't get sliders. The primary focus of the Mini is clip launching, so SO is an essential function that was omitted by some idiot in design/marketing somewhere at Akai or Ableton. That guy should be fired....

Maybe for you it isn't; for me it would totally be worth it (plus the other stuff LP95 offers). In comparison, i couldn't care less for Session Overview on the APC Mini - different strokes for...you know it.

I think my simple question to mots is reasonable, so please allow for him to answer it before deciding what's "worth it" or not.

Thanks.

I'm also running into issues with using Launchpad95 with Live Suite 9.1, when I was using Live Lite I had no problems but I upgraded to Live Suite and now my launchpad goes dead whenever I select Launchpad95 through Preferences -> MIDI. Any tips? Upgrades coming?

Did that several times with no success unless a newer version has been posted in the past week or so...

Hey, I know its very soon to ask that, but unfortunately I realized, Lauchpad95 doesn't run on ableton 9.5. When do you think you have time to update your script?
I use it everyday, i'd definitely pay for it.

Think it'd probably help if people used the donate button, just saying...

The amount of work updating this for 9.5 probably runs into about a weeks full time work in proving and testing...

Cheers

I'm not having any issues with this at all using 9.5. I'm on windows 7 64 bit if that helps. That doesn't excuse me from donating though, I will be making a donation. Such an essential script for the launchpad, I use it all of the time.
I've read that the improvements for push make it possible for the scales used to be saved with the projects, I hope you can implement that into your script

Hi, I've replaced the script and now it's working again (although I'm quite sure I had used the latest version before). Thanks! :D
