Key difference between Apple haters and Windows haters: Windows haters have generally used Windows and have personal reasons for hating it. A good percentage of Apple haters have never even touched whatever it is they are hating on. TRUTH.

Just another CNN commercial for Apple disguised as news. The unserviceable, non-repairable iPad. If it breaks throw it away and buy a new one. Apple is a lot of things but a green humanitarian company they are not. I love my android tablet. Faster than iPad and guess what, it runs flash! no censorship, nobody telling me what apps I can buy and what apps I can't buy. Apple Kool-Aid not for me.

I'm translating the "see" as retina display.

My roommate recently got an iPod Touch. He let his girlfriend’s kids play with it for a bit and within a fairly short time frame they managed to make multiple in app purchases and didn’t even bother to ask if it’s ok.
Whoever invented kids is an asshole and hippy America has taken away the one life lesson tool that has an impact, the physical beat down.

You know it wouldn't hurt to have some regard for efficiency in all it's glory. Pretty lazy imo.
Really, they can't come up with a universal installation procedure for this?
That's a lot of physical, logistical, manufactured, etc, wasted time and space.
yeah it's pretty fucked. for work i just had to purchase Exchange Server 2010 and Server 2008 + these
wonderful things called CALs that just server to further confuse matters while trying to decipher what you need and what you don't. the feature sets are so similar and long winded, and then there's the cross naming conventions to see if this product mixes with that one. honestly 90% of the time it's just like a DAW... if you get the full version you don't have to worry about needing something you don't have.
I created a sub calendar in Outlook at work that we’d like to be able to use and update with everybody in the office but I couldn’t figure out how to do it. Using help and even a Google search said it should be able to be done but I wasn’t seeing the options I needed.
So I called IT thinking I was missing the obvious and instead I got this response “Yeah, we didn’t purchase the software that allows you do that. We’re working on it.”
Wait, WHAT?!? Sharing a calendar requires an extra purchase?? ….a purchase that is so substantial in price that some decide it’s not worth the cost?!?!
And people accuse Apple of price gouging it’s costumers.

^ i'm offended by this latest sig change.
beats that software is called Exchange. it allows multiple users to share calendars from desktop to handheld and amongst themselves. for example, i can open your calendar, you can open mine, we can open his, he can open ours. there are other features too, but that is what your IT department is referring to. if you want a shared centralized calendar you would probably have to set up a "fake" user. then give everyone access to that 1 calendar... in one way or another (shared password etc.). With Exchange everyone has their own, but some can have access to all. it's not a sync, its a open the mother fucker up and make it happen as close to physically as a GUI allows for. after that the syncing is done to other devices as mentioned.

I migrated money from my savings to my checking in preparation for Wednesday's announcement, but nobody is expecting it to actually be available that day, even for pre-order.
But one thing is certain, I'm never going to stand in line the day of an Apple release ever again. Even with a pre-order I was there for 8 hours.

Stockpiles of iPad 3s rumored to already be at Best Buy. If this is true then the iPad 3 might be available on day of announcement. BUT they may just be the wifi only models. I think historically the versions with cell tower connectivity weren’t available until weeks after the wifi versions.
