[art] is it a hazard of composing out in the sticks that you get porcupines invading your worktops? There's a huge one between the 2 MacBooks...

Thanks, I've seen a few portable guitars, but never that exact one. Something I was looking for, sweet!

i was in nyc at ludlow guitars looking for something more official while i was there, spotted those traveler guitars, and i really loved the sound. best thing was the price - $280. Although its just a piezo mic, and there's no volume knob... depends on what you need it for i guess...

it's like a macbook air, lol. i find its the guitar i always pick up and take with me everywhere :)

Yes I've just found the electric model

Oh I'd forgotten to say I'm left handed... so it reduces the search within the european territory

Damn it, the ultralight left hand model is hard to find.
so the only one available for me,
Traveler Guitars Speedster CAR, I'll wait for this as it costs 498 euros

I have literally no idea what you are talking about here [art].

You should try and get work on the script for the new Star Wars!

Nice studio, anyway...

For the first time in my life I feel like I can proudly share images of my working space. Lots of work to be done yet, but this is damn near the room I've always dreamed of.

Studio Dog. Studio cat could not be reached for publicity.

Some things that need added: I need a patch bay, and I need a ton of cables. I don't currently have enough cables to run all of this gear. Embarrassing.

Both ready for circuit bending when I find time/money. I'm not big on heavy cosmetic modifications, so I think I'm going to use DB25 ports and an external patch bay. That'll give me the option of hooking up either device.

I just got the Kawai K1m, and I have to say that it is totally worth the $20 I paid. Excellent dirty, digital sounds.

@silverfish , how does your 60 hold on that stand? Does it wobble when you are banging out beats?

It wobbles a bit, but not enough to cause any issues or for me to worry about it tipping over. I worry more about the impact from my cat jumping up on it than her knocking it over. When I add a second rack, the 60 will probably go on top of that.
