I don't dislike it i don't have any emotional investment in it at all
i like the word fuck though as well as cunt and shit tits. and
use them when i want to because there just fucking words that's all they
are.
Which for me is why freedom of speech is important!
because words should not have power otherwise you
end up with loads of bile media and politics brain washing
every one. Oh wait sorry that is what we have

that post got me thinking... Ableton are taking for-fucking-ever to release Live 9, there has to have been some bandwidth for new creative features and while they're at it, why not make a lightweight version of Live? iPhone, iPad, netbook, whatever. up the ante with Bitwig and release all kinds of versions of Live. sucker people in with a lightweight version as the gateway drug. of course I've ranted against this idea in the past, wait a few minutes and I'll come back around.
can we rename this forum the 'Speculation Forum'?

Also agree with what tone said about striped down versions. The old argument was that if you're not using a feature, it doesn't take power. Never noticed a big change from one version to another, but I guess there's been gradual creep.

Funny how live only introduced midi in 2004 some 24 years after it was invented
it's all a bit familiar to me i remember waiting for live 4 to come out meh.
Same thing different decade rinse it as far as you can. get as many people buying
your software as possible before releasing the next version look 15% discount
