Well, that's not the ground loop for me - it is much, much quieter. But in your setup it would surely be noticeable with your distance to monitors. I have to be about 1-1,5 meters from my HS80's to disregard it, no matter if the audio is connected or not.

Then I don't notice something like that, they are quite silent when no audio is played.
