No, unfortunately when you get into the higher end speakers it's often not possible to hear them first (caveat below). I picked these for a few reasons though:

- Almost universal praise for all the Tyler speakers.
- The owner is known as an extremely friendly and down to earth guy, something I found myself over numerous calls to discuss my speaker build.
- They offer a full refund if you're not happy with them, or a full refund if you want to upgrade to larger speakers within a year. This was my safety net and why I was not worried about buying them unheard.
- Tyler will work you to customize the speakers any way you want, from custom finishes (mine are custom sitka spruce) to crossover changes.
- Damn good value for the money.

Green display in the Evolver, custom or a standard deviation?

Like the dual sliding rack shelves.

What's the controller on the right with faders & how is it mounted on the case?

New live setup, without the laptop and whatever MIDI controller I feel like using. Will probably use the remaining space for some eurorack modules.

The controller is a Livid Instruments Alias 8.
I made a bracket that is mounted with one screw to the rail on top.
The controller is "mounted" with velcro to the bracket.

Furthermore I used a normal 19inch monitor, mounted it with a Vesa monitor arm so i can fold it in/out.
Inside there is a HTPC unit on the bottom.
For cooling I used a closed loop watercooling system for several reasons:
- great cooling ;-)
- silent
- I did not want to have a large CPU cooler shaking around while transporting the case

My live-set uses a lot of CPU power. That is the main reason for this build and it is easy to upgrade the CPU.
This will hopefully stop me from buying expensive powerfull laptops every now and then.

Took a couple pics this weekend. Nothing too exciting these days as most of my stuff is just controllers for ITB stuff. Really

trying to keep everything as minimal and streamlined as possible. Current set up is:

-Tascam US-1641 Audio Interface
-M-Audio BX8A Monitors
-APC40
-MPD18
-KMI Quneo
-Roland RS-5 synth (just a glorified midi controller though)
-Alesis Control Pad
-2 Boss FS5U footswitches - one controls the hi hat/kick on the e-drums, one controls a Looper for my guitar/bass.
-Line 6 FBV Express.
-Becker Ghostrider guitar
-Dean Edge bass
-Boss GT6B Bass multieffects board.

....and lights. Lots of lights.

Are the tube lights just for the studio, or do you use those live too?
