yeah, back then I had my own studio - now it's in my living room, so stacking and compacting is so essential

Totally. All the slider/button/xy action I need. The padKontrol and TriggerFinger are just drum interfaces now, and my handsonics only come out when rehearsing for gigs.

:) Thanks DJ Vakis. I'm seriously geeky about studio setups. It's fun to have found a crowd that appreciates this kind of thing.

Is the trackpad on your laptop supposed to be off-centre? That would annoy me.

Huh, I never actually noticed that. I see that it's centered under the G and H keys, which is where your hands are if your typing per "proper" technique.

But pretty much any touchpad I've ever encountered annoys me - hence the wireless mouse.

Nice desk.

I particularly like the old school nintendo. Used for sampling lo-fi sounds?

But I must ask, what the hell is a fender jaguar doing up on the mantle like that? I hope it's used for more than decoration! :o
The Jaguar looks better up there than on a stand. So when I'm not playing it, it stays up there. The Nintendo is used as a synthesizer.

They are indeed. Two words: Bad. Ass.!

I still don't have a useful example to share, but when I do I'll make sure to break out the webcam. Mostly I will be flying my camera around inside maxMSP/Jitter, and doing some manipulation of the interface with the other one( mainly scaling the midi->visuals response, I think).
