If I don’t have enough free space that equals the total file size of all those apps combined then it won’t update any of them. So I have to do them 1 at a time and it magically works.

Also updates are all full files, not patches. So if you have a 1 gig app and there is an update it needs to install the whole damn thing when the updated code might equate to only a few MB.

ALSO, PAST VERSIONS OF APPS ARE NOT DELETED WHEN YOU UPDATE. THEY STAY ON YOUR DRIVE UNTIL YOU MANUALLY DELETE THEM.

OMFG.

WHAT?!?

So if an app has updated 10 times you have all 10 versions on your drive??

No I don't. Didn't think I had to and you shouldn't have to!

There should be some box you can check off asking if you want to keep previous versions. This should also be added to some drive cleaning app. :x

I don't know what the heck you guys are doing that makes this so difficult. When you download an app update, the previous version is automatically sent to your trash.

What LSZ shared was news to me. I just assumed new app updates overwrote the previous version THE WAY IT WORKS WITH EVERY OTHER SOFTWARE UPDATE (except Live). If what LSZ says is true it’s horrifying.

Hulu+ has been added to the Apple TV.

Oddly the Apple blogs have become almost completely silent on an Apple made TV over the last month or so. All the buzz is about an iPad Mini now. Sept. 12th is the expected keynote date....according to 1 source and turned into gospel by 8,000 other sources who copied it. :x

The addition of Hulu is telling me Apple is failing in negotiations with the major networks. :x

Nah, it's probably just a no-brainer. iTunes has had network shows...

My guess is that they just rename iPod Touch the iPad Mini, because really that's what it basically is at this point.

Or they name the 7.whatever inch version the iPod Maxi. :)

If they do release the mid-size family sedan pad I will buy one. Because it’s what I do. And also I see some uses for it. I’m still in the camp that finds the iPad a little heavy and bulky for some purposes. In fact I just bought an articulated arm floor stand for the iPad because there’s times when I just don’t want to hold it up and a table isn't an optimal location. :x

Is there any other company on earth that gets waves of disappoint when they don’t release something they never claimed they were going to release in the first place? Is it because Apple generally neither confirms nor denies any speculation and over a long enough period of time speculation just gets seen as fact by the masses?

iPad mini  because something a little more like a cell phone would be more useful

jebus. i'm missing Steve more than you guys at this point.

*kneels to pray*
Steve, Forgive me.
Apple's shit is making fun of itself at this point. it's hard to get them riled up and feeling like a unit... when they are all starting to just feel like units.
i think they are beginning to notice. not sure how much longer this can go on.
please bless the upcoming artists on iTunes and may the conflict in the middle east wash away in waves of free energy and money for everyone.
