I don't understand why it would work differently on a drum rack than on multiple midi tracks?
I've been trying to get it to work in Kore 2, but haven't been successful, but it may be my lack of proper knowledge of Kore routing so far.

By the way, thanks for highlighting this way of working with drum machines. I never really thought of dropping them into a Drum Rack.
As to why it works in a regular MIDI track and it doesn't in a Drum Rack, I am not sure why. However, I just tried to insert Impulse into a Drum Rack Pad (and then an external Instrument on another Pad) and Impulse doesn't show up on the external Instrument MIDI To menu either. I would think Ableton's own drum machine would work this way.
So maybe there is something more to this than just on d16's side. ADM does show up.
