Anyways, this thing is truly amazes me. P H A T ! ! !
No use in waiting longer. The more people that get in on the group buy, the cheaper it is for everyone, including you.
Also, if it starts to look like heaps of people are interested and signing up, others will quickly jump on board, making it cheaper, faster.
72 people signed up already, Yay!

i tried the demo last night and... well, i wasn't hugely impressed.
i know some people who are like 'dood, i'm selling my Virus, this synth is ALL i need!'. on the basis of half an hour's tweaking last night, i'm not even sure i want to groOop-bye, and there's no way i'd use it as much as my Virus.
i'm going to give it a more in-depth look tomorrow

i wouldn't sell a virus and replace it with this..
but i will buy it and trade it for a ti polar..
i will also throw in
1. slightly used m audio audio buddy (dual) mic pre amp (with 48v phantom power)
2. harry potter and the order of the phoenix (on dvd)
3. a 2008 squire bullet stratocaster (made in china)
4.a 24 pack of miller high life (otherwise known as miller low life, "the champagne of beers" or simply miller)

No oscillator sync. No FM. No ringmod. PWM requires complicated A/B phasing tweaks. *This* is supposed to be a general-purpose VA? No thanks.
The basic sound is good but there's no way this is a Virus replacement unless you only use about 30% of the features of the Virus.

Well there is osc sync! (absolutely needed of course) , right for FM and ring mod, sadly.
funny I tried almost all Vst Va synth since 10 years and I only found two "Phat analog" to my ear, :
Tc electronic/ access virus powercore (but it's weird buggy)
And this one stylenth sound amazing, also I agree on FM and PWM, hope it'll be there in later version...
so same for me I stick on the virus for now but I use it for "basic" sound, I even find it sometimes beats the virus.

Where? I don't see it in the UI.

It's called "retrigger"

That's not oscillator sync, that's just restarting the phase of the oscillator on note on. Oscillator sync syncs the phase of one oscillator to another and is a great source of all kinds of sharp, metallic sounds.
Try the sync function in Ableton's Analog synth if you want to see what I mean.

yup I see what wou mean, I thought you wanted to sync the two oscillators, wich can be achieveid by enabling retrigger on both osc, but not true osc sync right...

Good work Condra, how about a Live-inspired version?

Maybe another time if I get some free time. Those new ones above took quite a while. Appearantly a properly "skinnable" version of Sylenth is imminent anyway.

I like how the second skin looks like the Roland SH-201. Think I'm gonna be switching between this and the JP-8000 skin fairly often.
