Absynth 4 demo, the UI was SLOW and choppy when trying to select/go through banks. So bad that I completely stopped using it. Also, the first time I tried to run it after installing it, it said it had to look for the KORE folder or something, and only presented me with an Okay button. Pressing okay did nothing and I wound up having to force close Live

Albino 3 isn't working, can't change preset, always comes back to Ambient Layered.
Can anyone help me with this? I'm on a Mac using live 8.

Some Waves plugins. Is anyone else? I'd love some flipping support here

this is a complete useless thread.
collecting non-running plugins from all over the world without knowing the proximate cause.
you should only post here if:
- you tested the plugin which doesn´t work in Live8: on the same system in other DAWs too and see them working there!
- you tested the plugin which doesn´t work in Live8: on the same system in other versions (not 8) of Live too and it works there!
that´s the only way to verify an incompatibility between the desired plugin and version 8 of Live. and - of course - it has to be verified by other users too.

That doesnt seem a practical proposition as most users hear use only 1 platform mac or pc ( we us both mac and pc). How are they to test if they dont get access ot both ?
Best

i don´t mean annother platform... just annother host software to run the plugin on the same system.
otherwise the topic name just should be: "Plugins that don´t work so well".

Seems to me that if a plugin doesn't work in live 8 it's because of a bug in either Live or the plugin itself (in Live). Simple as that, no?

Considering there's a 1.5 year gap in the middle of this thread (august 2009 til feb 2011), lots of updates for everything have probably come out since most of it was posted, so is probably more erroneous than that! Thought I'd point that out in case people are compare recent releases!

in light of the lack of VST Delay Compensation this thread should be re-considered.

Yep, same happens here. Thought I was going crazy! I also use Cubase 5.5 and its perfectly fine there.

Same here, on a Mac.
Would be great if someone knows how to solve this, it's pretty annoying.
