I'm germaphobic and weird like that. when I get it into my head that something's not right with food, I won't eat it. like in restaurants when they bring you chips and salsa, I rarely eat it, never if it's on the table before we get there. it's good to get exposed to germs but I'm weird about public food, and pork.

got a source for that? in many countries pigs are setup below the latrines to eat whatever falls their way. a friend of mine grew up in Mexico like that. pigs are predisposed to eat feces. I'm not even going to get into a debate about which animal is treated worse.

My source is personal observation and my uncle. Chickens will peck all over their pins eating shit because they think it looks like seeds. At my family's farm where they raise chickens for themselves they pour the seed in one corner, thats the only place they should be eating at. The pigs never eat from anything that isnt in their trough and american farmers to my knowledge dont put shit in their food. I learned this because I told my aunt I dont eat animals who eat their own shit and then my uncle called me an idiot and pointed out these facts. I then watched the animals to make sure.

some veg friends are like that, I have a few that I forget are vagitarians.
