No, I wouldn't have much to add in that area I'm afraid. I haven't so much as made a straight 4/4 for months. That's a bit of an exaggeration, but sadly not much. The guitar is in the basement collecting dust.

I'll come back to it. My life has been design design design and more design.

Maybe soon you can help me out with learning about racks. I bought 7 back in march and haven't really learned much about it.

I go through cycles of being on and off the guitar too. for practice, get a capo and play with these chords in any order. a lifetime's worth of fun.

I could see how design design design could wear out the muses. all things in time, don't force it. life moves fast, take some time for yourself, screw work.

The only violence I see are those US roads, talk about violent.

Well, you know - it's art as well, and it is my main passion so it gets the majority of my energy.
The day job is pretty draining though, dregs of graphic design for the most part, but the work I do at home for the non-profit, my personal work and my school work are all pretty satisfying.

For a while I was really spit between music and graphic art and I found myself constantly distracted by one from the other. I got to a place where I had to make a decision. Not to dump one or the other entirely, but more like where does my main focus need to be.

I have no natural musical ability and am not very good at it, I have natural ability with design and it's where I make a living, so it was a no-brainer as to where I needed to focus the most and develop more.

I still love music and I still have all of my stuff - everything has its place and sometime soon, when I have more free time I'll be crunking up some cyclops beats for sure. And thanks for the guitar tips - I'll definitely be hitting you up when I pull the guitar back out!

Have to agree with him here though. Thing is, in a lot of OT threads you don't like tone, the main arguments are with you. You calling names and arguing with people for starting OT threads. Catch 22, you can say that OT threads are always bad because people get angry in them, even though mainly it's you and some other person getting angry at each other.
The forum decorum is to not call people names etc. There's no part that says OT isn't allowed.

he knows that, he trys his best to derail any thread in the first couple of post and then complains that they're not going anywhere and then at the middle or end he offers somebody some help on something it's like the same routine all the time like a washing machines cycle.



@throwaway: I was about to say the same thing smutek did, I think there were people outraged by the bush administration and there were people who protested but what I think smutek was saying is that where were all the folks who are out there now so mad that they're mad enough to take up arms and succeed from the union and saying that the government is being overtaken, those people weren't out there protesting he last

A lot more complicated would be correct here. What they teach in elementary school history books isn't the whole story, and besides, many of the facts presented in those books are proven wrong or meaningless by modern research. You'd be surprised how much christianity and Pax Dei has to do with the fall of Rome.

when it's so obvious that we don't want to come together I wonder what would be the right route to go to protect ourselves from ourselves cause when it comes down to just doing the right thing it's looking like people aren't interested.
we're more into building prisons than schools

we're willing to sacrafice the good of our nation because we think the president is a muslim
we're completely fine with the fact that we won't allow our president to be black and angry at the same time.
