^ooh! excellent suggestion!

as soon as he produces some pictures, there shall be a dedicated section. At this point, the hype is so big, I'm expecting nothing less than this...

nebulae, you're my hero. i have to do the same damn thing with my FIVE websites that i constantly need to update. it's so damn annoying. i have to stop it all and just have one splash page like you have, that links to my songs/albums elsewhere (like you have).

thank you for the inspiration.

great tunes by the way!

Agreed completely! That's why I put the middle shit in regular text and not an image. But honestly, I wasn't coming up too high on Google. The wiki entry on me was coming up higher, and I'm fine with that.

I just felt the blog was a necessary evil, and my heart wasn't in it. But yeah, you're right - splash pages suck for SEO.

Wow, dude, thanks so much. Your last comment stays with me on a daily basis (the no balls part), so hearing this from you is very inspiring. Thank you.

Hey.. I try and tell how I see it.. and tbh don't even know how valid my comments/opinions are in real terms... You are a talented mofo, and you are a caring, open geezer too.. These tracks are showing me both of those aspects to you much more clearly than the
previous tracks of yours that to date I've heard.. I think in the light of these (new) tracks the 'ballz' comment was reflecting a lack of your personality and the 'special' Neb in the music... if you catch my drift!

don't make any rationalization for your comments...I think they were most instrumental in the the past few years to get me out of a rut - you were right about my music not having balls, and I thank you for saying it!

As for the geezer comment, go fuck yourself. I'm still hawt. (*sigh*)

;)

But yeah, these past few tunes, I did put a lot of myself into...how could I not - they're all about death.

In any case, the new stuff I'm working on, Pellicle Collective, with Martyn and Beats Me is gonna be ballzy electronica!!!!!!!

I've relaunched my site. http://www.nebulae.com is supremely simplistic and static HTML. Fuck flash. Fuck blogs. Fuck joomla. I'm done with maintaining, graphic-ing, and tweaking. I just want to make music. And when I promote it, I just want to post about it.
Good decision and well done on the site ! - I've just spent the last week agonising over the exact same thing. Do I go down the MySpace or Last.fm route ? Do I set up blogs and subscribe to streaming services ?

At the end of the day I just want to share my music with a wider audience on a site that I can control and monitor with minimal overhead. So that's what I did - (http://www.monkeylovesdisco.com).

A big +1 for the anti-web movement. Good work that man.

^ hey, that Monkey Loves Disco site is outstanding! Love the miminalism, and the nice sliding things. Along with the player at the top - very very slick!

To that end, I created a simple page, with a link to Bandcamp (which has IMHO the simplest upload/download/pay-to-purchase music scheme favorable to artists), and a link to my own forum where I will post stuff about my music.

Hopefully, less to worry about, and less shit to go wrong. More time to make music.

Feel free to go and post some shit on my forum. :) http://www.nebulae.com/bb

yep!!! very nice and well-done! I dig simplicity on the web too.

Check out jQuery - it's really easy to use with some nice effects that are mostly cross-browser compatible.
