Because we need to find new methods to increase the class gap. If we get rid of Microsoft and by extension PCs, that will leave Apple and only the rich will be able to afford computers. I'm willing to bet a peasant girl and a chicken that most of you with speed issues with FF need to uninstall a guilty add on or 2... I'm thinking Chrome is running "so much better" because you haven't pimped your ride yet... those knock off rims and foot shaped pedals weigh a ton.

Have you ever noticed that the Mac vs PC debate focuses on the hardware, and the cost of running a system? It's NEVER about OSX versus Windows. Windows is a bad joke and the only reason we use it is that Linux doesn't have apps like Ableton Live, Photoshop etc etc. and drivers for all our hardware. For running a custom programmed setup or a webserver linux is a great choice.

Now everybody repeat after me:

Windows sucks!

OSX is the reason a Mac is so expensive, IMO. The hardware is basically the same as a nicely built windows machine that still costs far less. That's why I decline to buy Mac....I'm not paying $1000 for an OS, no matter how nice and blingy.
