Sure, if you want. That's an artistic choice, and while I personally am not a fan of the practice, it's certainly valid for some people. Shame that by advocating people use LESS compression, people extrapolate that to think I'm anti-compression when nothing could be farther from the truth...
Anyway, the soundcard issue is just laziness, people can't be bothered to read a few reviews and do some google searches. Same with people who ask "Should I get gear X,Y,Z?" If you don't know if that gear fills a real and obvious hole in your set up, you don't NEED it, save your money until you do know.
Great, now this thread has gotten me worked up and I want to punch IT in the face.

Ah I was just pullin your leg tarekith, seemed like right after soundcards and Mac vs. PC the real punch in the face topic is people asking how to master their mastered tracks. Your the poster boy for not fukin with professionally done work.
I would like some help putting together my set of 128k mp3's though, dont know why Ableton's audio engine sucks so bad and it sounds awful:)
