-Zoomable/slidable Scale module, basically lets you define scales and play them with a keyboard.
-The sequencer supports odd loop lengths, independent rates (up to 64x the tempo!), and trigger resets now.
-Transposing of sequencers now scale properly.
-Fixed the .wav case sensitivity issue.
-Fourier transform modules (FFT, iFFT, Band, Bands) for some spectral fun! Check out the new Spectral category which contains a Vocoder example!
-Recording/Resampling now only listens to the selected Speaker modules, if nothing is selected then it records everything (just like the current default behavior).
-Fixed a browser tabbing issue that would popup after saving a scene.
-Much better sounding Noise module.
-Sonoma AudioCopy/Paste 1.1.
-Sequences/Motion now start on the initial note on loading.
-Fixed a bunch of number editor bugs, and yes, you can now enter 0!
-You can now disable motion smoothing on nodes when dragging them around in the scene. The option can be found in the Motion menu under Smooth.
-Replaced the screensaver with something a little less arbitrary, a spectrogram!

BTW, this iPad app and the techniques shown in the video can be used with any software....but it's particularly interesting with software like the professional Omnisphere Power Synth that is far too powerful to run on the iPad natively.

Just got Air Display, actually works pretty well with Live, WAY better than iDisplay did.
Would be so good if Live have true multi-touch control.

iJammer is a WiFi-based wireless MIDI "Jammer" style control surface for the iPad

The layout is based on the "Hayden-Wicki" system, with independent mirror image keyboards for the left and right hands. Supports up to 10-note polyphony.

iJammer supports two independent wireless MIDI channels and has a 9-octave range.

iJammer doesn't produce any sound on it own, it is designed for controlling hardware or software VST-style MIDI synthesizers via a WiFi connection to a Windows or Mac OS X based computer.

Multiple iPads can run iJammer on the same wireless network, each sending messages on its own set of MIDI channels to the hardware or software synthesizer.

In this video we talk about the Apple iPad versus the Novation Launchpad versus the Monome - in a topic as old fashioned as 16 step sequencing. The video is not so much about the sequencing as such, but about the different form factors, the haptic and the used software of the three candidates in the comparison. My favorite is the iPad for now, as it offers a minimal footprint with maximum possibilities. From a "touch" perspective and coolness, the monome wins, whereas the Launchpad gains momentum with its budget friendly approach. Go make some music! modul8or

Thanks! I guess TouchOSC is a musthave for iPad. iSequence and Aurora are also great for portable production.

Downloaded this for the iPod last night. Unbelieveable application. Just staggering that something this powerful is available for a thing I carry in my pocket!

Can't wait to get an iPad and try Jasuto on it. The one problem on iPod (like a lot of apps) is the lack of screen space.
