we live in very fast times apparently^^
ive experienced it a lot with piano teaching, it actually happend so often that i stopped teaching "boring" handexercises completely and now try to start with their fav. song.
which is ofc not that hard, because its mostly Mtv music , which means 4 chords a bridge and finish^.
the bottomline is,... its not my problem if they cant, and wont ever learn to play "real" piano, with sheets, notes and freaking endlessly finger techniques.
apparently all the can and want to do is play 4 chords in a row
ofc one day they will hear a real pianista probably even playing their simple 4 chords, and they'll notice that it sounds 100 times better than themselfes playing it.
and thats ofc because the Pro spent years and years practicing his fingers and feelings for the music.
in my opinion, -everything- in life would take much more than just one short human lifetime, to bring to real perfection.
and since especially music "works" infinite,... well

cant be that hard can it? afterall you can drum the beat on your desk´, so how hard can it be to do that on pc lol.---
fortunately we Humans worked out a system of EpicSuck and EpicWin that in 99,9% successfully elimininates TEH SUCK, so only the Win comes through and gets the well earned Respect.
there are as usual in Life exeptions, which probably is what encourages the kids, not sure.
