Teenage Engennerings Op-1 just got a new update with a drum synthesizer, a new finger sequencer, midi timing and a (…) game.
They are also introducing the OpLab and it really sounds great.

Macmusic is reporting that Digital Performer after almost 30 years as Mac only is going Windows.
http://www.macmusic.org/news/view.php/lang/en/id/11097/
Mixed feelings about that, software development could slow down, if they have a "hit" in the already crowded DAW world with the Windows version I suppose it could be that they invest more in DP9.... seems like a long shot though, my instincts have been wrong before so here's hoping.

I really hope that's true. I would love to use Digital Performer. I always thought the UI was so clean. I'm a pc user. I hate MAC!!!

It's true.
Hating Macs is stupid, especially if you lust after software developed on Mac OS!
It's like hating gay people but slipping to the bath houses and parks late at night when the wife is sleeping.

Do you dry hump your PCs? I mean if it's that sort of relationship I think I can understand.

Oh, and yeah DP7 is pretty dammed cool. I use it and Live 50/50.
Great combo, strengths of one are the weaknesses of the other etc.

I like the Digital Performer audience: 4 balding men, and a guy with a ponytail.

Well it makes sense in terms of DP being more of a studio workstation DAW in competition with Pro Tools and Nuendo than a DJ tool/performance and composing DAW in competition with an MPC or Traktor.

I know there will be people hating, but I like the new Behringer CMD-series.
I owned the BCR2000 and it was a fantastic Controller. They also offer a 3-years-warranty, cool.
Did they copy the new Traktor-Controller of NI?
http://www.behringer.com/EN/products/CMD-DC-1.aspx
Can anybody tell?
(Well, the BCMD-DC-1 is not coloured, but well, I'm sure it will be way cheaper)
At least this one of their CMD-serie is colored:

The Behringers do look really nice. Looks like they got some new industrial design talent on board over there...
