It would be time, but also could be only another way to get some cash into their wallets. - How often people over here thought that an upgrade sale would be a sign for something new coming up in the last two years.

Perfect timing, perfect communication... and Saturday night the 8.2.9b1 will appear.
Btw when even German magazine De:Bug already writes in an update note for 8.2.8 that Live comes closer to version 9, than it really will not take too long anymore.
But I stopped guessing because of a no-beta phase and a sale. Long lifes the rumour!
