I love how NI's Fan Boys are desperately trying to convince themselves how great their overpriced Komplete / Maschine / Traktor software is, LOL!

and yet, i have yet to see anyone here come up with *any* convincing arguments to prove their point.

Sure, NI has some great products.. Massive is huge with dubstep producers and kiddies, Kontakt rules the sampler market, Reaktor is still great, Traktor is ok.. but i can't see how it could possibly compete with some of the things you can do with Ableton and an Ipad...

the point of my posts are to shed a light of reality in the hype behind NI...

No, they discontinue products because they have no clue what they are doing..
The brilliant minds running NI have no strategy..

a few examples:

Reaktor: completely abandoned for 5 years.. then all of the sudden they decided to do a half-assed revival with some lame cosmetic touchups and some fixes that were 5 years too late. Version 6 has yet to be released, and it is basically the same cryptic product that only DSP geeks can figure out, specially the Core piece.
The Reaktor training material and documentation is still laughable.. in the meanwhile MAX / MSP has completely taken over what could have been Reaktor's market.

Kore: Years of bad hardware, developers time and marketing down the drain.
Can you spell F-I-A-S-CO?

The marketing heads running NI are just trying to desperately chase the latest fad to boost their sales, so they can keep their bloated company afloat, killing all innovation along the process.

Why are people so unconfortable with the truth?

For starters I am just uncomfortable with people trying to tell me what the 'truth' is.

You surely must be a deeply dissatisfied customer.

So you should apply for a job at NI then, maybe with your business skills they would easily rise to world domination.

FYI I neither do own Maschine (don't need it) nor any other NI product.

you can always stop reading this thread and go back to your safe little world..

I love how people who don't own or have never used NI's products have an opinion about them..
and before you ask, yes, i am a former NI Komplete owner since v.3 and i am *very* familiar with most of their stuff, because i have ACTUALLY used it.. Reaktor, Kontakt, FM7, Elektrik Piano, Akoustik Piano, Absynth, Pro-53, B4 and Spektral Delay

Gotta love how some people defending NI and criticizing my comments don't own any NI products..
I see a lot of credibility there..LOL

There must be some fundamentally deceptive reason for NI to exist!

Everybody knows Ableton will never include brezier curves because it is the one true DAW!

All Your NI products are still safe from early obsolescence, just make sure you pre-order your Komplete v.666 upgrade this summer

P.S. We have a couple of leftover brand new Kore 2 controllers with full warranty, would you sheeple be interested?

You don't have to own products to know them.

And what's with your concept of 'truth' anyways? Right, it's your opinion, it's the truth! Easy as that.

Perhaps read again, I'm not defending anything, but whenever I see a certain kind of - no offense - ignorance expressed in discussions I cannot resist jumping on it (when I'm bored). The Internet is full of people who "know better", "knew better" etc.
