Re: Ableton Forum - user style
it looks so hilariously bad that i almost like it.
Re: Ableton Forum - user style
I'm reading this on my iPad. I'm glad to see some changes happening, and I feel for any web designer raised in a modern web environment being forced to edit ye olde PHPbb template files. Those things are awful. Tables, tables and badly identified divs everywhere
But I'm still compelled to point out that the new ableton colour scheme is insane.
I shall do this through my chosen medium, of sarcasm.

I thought this was vbullitin?
Anyway, as much as I dislike the foundation makeup look, it's better than it was with the white glarey boxes.

Re: Ableton Forum - user style
It's as if they're picking colours from a 70s bathroom brochure...
Re: Ableton Forum - user style
Oops hehe
Re: Ableton Forum - user style
I don't know if this is due to my colour-blindness, but I actually don't find this '70s bathroom brochure scheme too shabby. It's a definite improvement over the previous one. But now that they've actually taken the time to update the forum - can't they just give us a mobile friendly version too? Or make it available in Tapatalk?

Re: Ableton Forum - user style
The Ableton design team are obviously currently altering the styles for this forum.
I'll post an updated CSS after they are finished to resolve any issues.
For example: I had hidden the info at the top such as "Last visit was: Tue Oct 30, 2012 1:43 am " and "It is currently Tue Oct 30, 2012 1:58 pm " as I consider it to be useless noise. It has now reappeared because they are adjusting the hierarchy of the elements.
So when they are done skinning everything, I'll update the first post in this thread with a fixed style for everyone.

Funny colours still, but at least the result no longer burns out my eyes.
Not sure if I follow associating this kind of colours with Ableton and their market though...
Hm...
Cheers,
