Yup, got the email and filled it out. Painless. Hope it helps.

Click out of it and get on with your work, or give them a bad rating out of spite.. Either way, if it pops up on the right sidebar like the lessons do then you really have nothing to worry about.
:| why you gotta get all reasonable. can't you see that these poor fellas are in the middle of bitching HARD about something that can be solved by a single mouse click? could be the easiest thing they do all day... and it's exactly that ease that makes it worth bitch... wait, what?

I hope there is a shortcut to get rid of this survey. One extra mouse click will cripple me. :x

I think most people here are simply unhappy with Ableton wasting time and resources on
creating this useless and annoying survey instead of taking care of important things...

^ i get that point... to a degree, but what do think it took them 30, 40, 60 minutes?

it's not like there are a plethora of questions that they spent hours compiling, rewording and arranging in seemingly random but truly specific order to trick you into the answering honestly.

My DAW does not need a survey popping up, ever. Send me an email, put a link in the forum, whatever, but keep that stuff out of my audio tools though.

^ that's more to the point without all the fluff.

this was not a conspiracy to ruin your work flow.

this was not what they were doing instead of creating smoother curves.

Definitely more time was invested in this.
They have to discuss it (with several people while the clock is ticking), decide it, design it, implement it.
And even if it WERE only 60 minutes, it is just a matter of priorities.

uh, just to compile the software is an overnight deal I'm sure. it'd take at least a few days to find the hooks, test and implement.

I just thought it was an odd place to put it, when they have all of our email addresses

When I'm checking emails I'm likely to be doing admin. and so answering a questionnaire fits right in with that... But when I open Live I'm making music, and a questionaire doesn't fit well with that activity.

My issue was simply : that isn't a good place for asking questions. They made an odd mistake misunderstanding user behaviour.
