Vinyl's the only way to go it has that warmth it's so tactile. I can hear a rat farting next to the bass drum in the studio on one of my cerrone vinyl. Dj stands for 'disk' jockey. Heaven forbid you use Ableton Live. You'll get that Ableton sound

As can be seen in this very thread, opinions have been presented as facts. Statements like "VDJ can't compete" with Serato etc. or "experienced DJs only use Traktor or Serato" and so on and so forth.

The OP needs the facts presented in an unbiased fashion, not Traktor fanboys saying that VDJ is "clearly aimed at bedroom DJs" - that's nonsense.

Check the thread. At no point during this have I been badmouthing Traktor, just correcting the misinformation about VDJ.

Oh ok. I feel ya. I didn't really read the entire thread, i was kinda just going off your posts and they were intensely defending VDJ to the point that I thought you may have written the program yourself or at least worked for them.

I know what you mean though. People definitely hate on VDJ and view it as a "noob" app and not something a professional would use. Even I do and I couldn't really say why. Like I said, maybe it's just the name or the fact that it comes bundled w/ really crappy controllers. IDK. All I know is I'm a Traktor user and I absolutely adore it! I guess I could be considered a bit of an NI fanboy. I own an S2, x1, f1, Audio2, Maschine MK2, and am seriously considering buying a z1 and an x1 mk2. I just REALLY like their stuff. It's quality. Plus, Maschine changed my life, seriously!
