Checking your old man self
Re: Checking your old man self
They will be given their own startup company with $800 million in seed money for their first birthday which they will run just as affectively as the 20-somethings who are running them now. In this case the CEO being a big clueless spoiled baby will literally be true.

I'm sure the kids first lemonade stand will have a tracking device the size of a sugar grain in each cup. You know, for market research.

So will people point and laugh if they see you getting in or out of a taxi because, you know, you’re supposed to use Uber.
Or will they think you’re a hipster because, you know, you’re supposed to use Uber.

Its not that they care. Its that our entire society is based on judging and being judged on even the most trivial of actions we take. Otherwise there would be an epidemic of high self-esteem. I judge myself poorly on behalf of others all the time.

Yeah it's a by-product of the American culture. I think we're collectively ashamed of our laziness and don't want to face up to it so we project it onto others. Esepcially celebrity figures/scapegoats/boogeymen, etc.

At 42 I feel like I’m over the hump and it’s all varying degrees of decline from here on out, but then I realized I would be 100 in 2072. When you look at it like that it seems like there are plenty of years ahead.

It is if you’re hoping to be around long enough to witness the historically significant global financial apocalypse and subsequent wholesale slaughter of the rich. You’re never too old to have dreams.

sure, the rich will get slaughtered....that's a good one.
How long to you plan to live? Till hell freezes over?!
Re: Checking your old man self
But the slaughter of the rich is probably more likely than the social media income inequality slackivists creating any kind of meaningful change.
Read a recent article about somebody who made it their career to find and support affordable housing who is ironically leaving the area because its too fucking expensive.
