OK the only thing that interests me is the part about being able to exchange instruments and FX no matter what system or sequencer.... I think this is more german to english poor translation, but if you really could exchange from PC to mac, and Logic/SX3/Digital Performer to Live, then it might be worth something to somebody like me. I regularly switch from desktop Logic to laptop Live, and being able to have all presets etc. in one package outside the Logic, DP, Live, SX3, Pro Tools concepts would suit me.
Lame add campaign for sure though.

Cool, looks like it could be something I can use, if it's not too overpriced.
My big question is if you have a plug in in AU on your mac, and you move to PC VST, will Kore translate that for you? They make it seem like it's possible, and I know of a few developers that do things to help that along so....

Well, it looks like an efficient way to build complex splits and keyboard mappings, witch is a drag to do in Live,

..and if I can switch those keboard mappings on the fly, recalling vsts while playing, I can really see the usefullness

..to me it looks like a performance tool.

Wow, KORE is pretty much an all in one solution. One huge advantage offered by KORE is the "Integrated NI Store.", (aka "CTORE!") The horizontal line on the front is actually a credit card reader from what I understand. It reads AMEX, VISA, Master Card, and Discover.

Pretty neat.

kore is also an audio/midi interface.

it's supposed to take your eyes off the screen and put the focus on the hearing , for instance, it displays preset names for instruments you browse on the lcd of the hardware unit . . . . . .

This thing has loads of potential , all the people saying NI is stupid just haven't got it yet . . . .

Think of it as a non fiddly remote SL , with instant access to all your plugs and sounds . . .

I'm not sure what you mean about it being a non-fiddly remote, especially since this isn't even a midicontroller, but I do agree, not only does this device look promising, but it also makes me more interested in reaktor, as theoretically it should integrate best.

Too bad NI's reputation for osx stability and support are so low. These details make it almost impossible consider this as a worthwhile expendature of my assets.

I would love to proven wrong though, especially with the new intels out, but bad customer service? Limited Product support? Even MORE, Constant upgrade fees? AHHHH!

I dunno man, Native Instruments had a rough time getting to OSX, but I really can't say anything bad about them. Decent phone support, and Reactor, Absynth, FM7, Kontact etc. all really good products. I'm happy with NI, and honestly I've been putting off getting Komplete 3, though I would definitely use Guitar Rig, well for the price of the Komplete 3 upgrade I get Kore for free.......
So basically I buy Guitar Rig more or less, and get Kore for free.... not really that bad of a deal IMO. As long as NI give third party vendors a lot of incentive, and help integrating with Kore, it's got a lot of potential. I'm one to work on more than one computer, I've also been thinking about working cross platform,and this could be a great solution for me.

They have some decent deals happening also where if you own komplete 3 and you buy kore you get komplete care for free. It's making me consider it.

By the way, if anyone has four N.I. products and wants to upgrade to komplete 3, I've got a four product user upgrade to komplete 3 sitting here unopened in it's box that I need to sell. I ended up with komplete 3 twice because of ordering mishaps.

I'll probably end up selling for around half the price on the site. It's going on ebay if nobody bites.

Good to hear some positive things about them. I actually really want to break into their line once I get a little more squared away on max and after I buy a future version macbook. Their $1000 whole package deal looks like a really good deal actually.
