i heard that the sea in marseilles (south of france, on the mediterranean) was 30°C hot!
i've been living there 20 years, and i never saw that.
it's not even refreshing at this temperature....

This shit isn't funny anymore, yesterday it was 27c in the shade and they promised rain, I jumped up and down last night when it started.
Woke up, now it's freakin 30c in the shade and so humid the fish is swimming around in the air.

All this heat in the northern hemisphere must be heating the oceans up a lot, the atlantic around my neck of the woods (cornwall uk) is really warm for the time of year. Warm oceans in one place and cool in another means accelerated weather systems, and that basically equates to one thing, hurricanes! At least, it did last year, we (globally) had 29 named storms last year, 21 was the previous record. This year is definately hotter, maybe the fact that the heat is more uniform across the world will help to keep the air fairly still. Lets hope so eh.
Mother nature will balance it all out in the end, her immune system will fight any germ that threatens the balance, unfortunately that means us.

Well, today has finally cooled down a bit at 4:15pm to a cozy 41 C (106 F) !!!
Storms tonight should cool it off to 90 F tomorrow! Ahhh....

It's going to get worse as we get deeper into monsoon season.
108 degrees plus humidity = suck

Global warming has taken our winter away....
I had to take my jacket off today (in Melbourne) because the sun was so hot when I walked down the street.
It's supposed to be rainy Melbourne FFS! July is supposed to be cold as shit. Last year was Melbourne's warmest winter on record, and this one is gonna come pretty close I reckon.
It's been around 15ºC over 7ºC for anyone who's interested. Australian sun is hotter then European sun though, so take that into account.
