I buy stuff and sell it ebay for a profit, sell other stuff, and work during the summer while I'm at school. I'm confident that a few of the tracks I've written are marketable, but I don't really want to try to sell them until I have developed a specific "sound", mixed and mastered them properly, and have a proper distribution channel
It's hard being broke 9 months out of the year.
As far as actually paying the bills, I give my roommate a check each month because he doesn't trust bank transfers. Pssh.

the market here is so small you have to learn everything in order to survive. good things emerge on restricted ambients, though.

I'm a very part time AV technician at a university, but my main income is my jewelry.Oh, and gigs/.

me, well im an insurance geek for a major company in the us...and soon to be starting a 2nd job being a manager at a furniture store in an upscale part of town.
but i had a great upbringing...worked in music stores since i was 16...managed a few record stores and then had my hand in management at some big music retailers...all fun but now i work the corporate job to get the corporate checks...
at least my beard and long hair and tattoos aren't a problem...

I'm a full-time video editor and motion graphics designer for a small AV production company in Amsterdam. I do mostly really bad and cheesy commercials and corporate films, but once in a while some cool jobs come by.
oh and to all the unemployed people leeching money off the government (ie: actual working people's tax money): GET OFF YOUR ASS AND GET A JOB!!!

Um, let me make something clear, some of us are considered "disabled" and cannot work full time...........and some of us actually have good reasons for being labled "disabled".......

I was told that my elephantitis of the testicles would label me disabled as well, however I am still holding a full time job.
