I work in City. Would be interested to see what others look like and to exchange geeky tips on how to upset neighbours with bad tunes. Hope there are no "Nathan Barleys" amongst you !! :) !! Joking.

I'm planning on heading down to show my support. Come down and say hi. (Andy has a photo on his MySpace. I have one on my FaceBook. So you know who to say hi to. ;))

:D

nice one robb.

looks like there may be a few people turning up tonight so we may be performing to an actual audience.

im going to be playing clips and field recordings in ableton then playing around with some sends and feedback. quite simple stuff. bontempi and vocals too, of sorts.

its going to be an improvised thing with alex and gav on guitars. alex might do some ableton bits too

hopefully it should go ok, we're on about 9

London meet-up

Post by LaSonique » Fri Feb 08, 2008 1:28 am

Hi

I'm relocating to London end of March and keen to connect with any Ableton users, and or musicians in London when I arrive.

I DJ. Have 2 x CDJ1000mks' and Serato. Brought Ableton late last year and loving it - still an amateur on, doing basic re-editing of tracks etc, so keen to take some classes. . Found one from the Berklee College of Music, San Francisco - a 12 week online program for USD$1000.

I spin minimal, techno, tech house, progressive, dirty electro, tribal...

What's going on in London? Would love to hear from some of you.

Peace and much love
Lara

Ah, perfect answer. What's the best way to find out what's going on around London?

Time Out (weekly magazine). Or their web site: http://www.timeout.com/london/

And we will get this Live user group up and running properly. ;)
