That's insane. What law was passed? I think I read about a law passing the house that dealt with that issue. Doesn't it seem crazy that you now live in fear of speaking out? Isn't that even more reason to speak out? Why were these groups labelled "terrorist" groups?

still waiting for one of the 4 voters to give a good, reasonable, logical excuse to not impeach the fuck out of Cheney. I can't hate on the GOP supporters around here, you're here, I'm here, let's talk.

every president pardons people as they leave office, Bush's pardons will interesting.

i) is what scared me

the groups were Code pink(all female, chick i was with at the time was one of the top people) veterans for peace(look at thier name for fucks sake) and another vererans party i cant recall, they are all kind of similar. I have no idea probably to squash the momentum they were gaining in membership and part a of a plan which included this resolution as part b.

Oh shit, I missed that one. WTF with all the executive orders?!?!? How is that constitutional? I would think there are a lot more impeachment charges that could be made than Kucinich is making, but then he's the Rep not me. I do think impeaching Cheney is the way to go, not Bush.

As for pardons, why wait til you're leaving office? He already got Libby off the hook. American amnesia blows me away...think of all the atrocities we've seen over the past 7 years...they slip from the public memory like butter. I'm surprised Britney Spears hasn't gotten a presidential medal of freedom yet.

oh, I remember Libby, the way the whole Valerie Plame thing was swept under the rug is disgraceful, Bush has no honor.

(i) to have committed, or to pose a significant risk of committing, an act or acts of violence that have the purpose or effect of:

what the hell does pose a significant risk of committing mean? If you look at my record and how many times ive been caught fighting im pretty sure you can say i pose a significant risk, I took lawstudies for three years but I dont know. I dont know if you all have been to a protest but when I was doing it there was still a large percentage of people who were still backing the war, not including the active marines i had to deal with. these guys would come up and spit in old ladies faces, i saw it at least three times personally. its funny how they always made a beeline for the 60+ yr old women. The servicemen that would actually just get mad but still would have a logical disscussion would usually come to this "i dont feel like they could do anything to americans on american soil but i kept fighting to maintain our way of life" that makes them murderers. burn in hell. My uncle is a former army ranger who spent along time in vietnam and who regrets everything he did till this day and doesnt defend any of the bs politics behind that war and sure in the hell doesnt front about this murderous war. Im rambling, im going to go try and recover from this monster hangover.

if you mean his wife, not soon enough.

I've seen videos of women sucking off donkeys and the 2 girls 1 cup thing but Cheney getting a hummer is likely out of the question.

Speaking of Neb...
Maybe he can use his legal skills to find a loophole into Cheney's pants.

Somebody must have to power to make "Cheney shot somebody in the face" a double entendre.

sorry, didn't mean you...i meant the general media discourse and public memory...to me, if you add everything up that's happened it seems pretty obvious what's been going on...namely, that these guys know they can pretty much do what they want and get away with it because they either have everyone in their pocket, or they're too intimidated to do anything about it. Anytime things get too hot there is a celebrity 'crisis' in the media, or some other distraction, and people forget. It's so crazy to watch it happen...like, in the future we'll look back and it will be clear we were under attack from within.

:D didn't know that. if there's any justice in the world Bush will die an unnatural death or his family's fortune will be decimated from lawsuits.

My thoughts on this are relatively simple. It's too late to make a difference with regards to Cheney, don't you remember MISSION ACCOMPLISHED? Sure it was on the news, but did we all just 'infer' that it was about "winning the war"? Some rich ass folks were toasting Hennessey that day to something bigger.

And what of all the nation-states that are still going through the decolonization process.... what do we find? The invisible hand still extracting wealth and resource from the periphery and sending it to the emeregent core, gotta love the World System. Didn't the US gov contract Hall and friends to build over a dozen bases in Iraq? I think the shit is locked, including election 2008. I have perfectly good fucking reasons for it. Just take a look at the USA starting Election 2000. We could go back further but what's the point.

I don't think it will matter that much whether Dick is in or out (). Not just because what is done is done, but also because the true channels of power do not originate from him. Sure he get's a nice slice of the pie, but the true powerful force will continue with or without Cheney just as it has before him. It's all in history.
