The general forum generally

Dude we get it. We don't need your attention whoring in every 2nd thread in every forum.

So you're not happy about it, great. You're more than welcome to start a thread and outline your complaints but stop trolling every thread. We get it. You don't like it. Don't pay. Wait for Live 8.

Personally, I find that the new compressor alone is worth it :)

And hey, nobody forces you to buy it. If you don't like it, don't buy it! However i'd like you to tell what it is you don't like. Is it just ableton's upgrade policy in general? (or if you where an active beta tester, that you don't get a discount?)

i think all the guys that beta tested and all the guys at ableton
should be thanked for i believe turning out the best piece of music software
on the market today the work that has gone into ableton is quite remarkable .
i was scepticle if maybe ableton had stalled with the development.
but i now say sorry to you guys for being a spanner.
best wishes to ableton and all beta testers and guys on the forum.

now if i can just get my hands on a wii game console for retail price lol

I just thought I'd add my voice here as elsewhere....

Congratulations to Live 7 and beta testers..... Between you and Sonar 7, I am really a happy camper these days. Excellent work; you guys are well appreciated....

I really want to buy this. Hopefully the demo works. beta7.21 did not. If it works I will buy the boxed upgrade with session drums right now.

Drum Racks.....very nice. I only went for the basic upgrade but Drum Racks and the changes to EQ 8 and the compressor was worth the relatively modest sum.

+1

around the time the beta came out I got an email from Imageline saying they were launching a new compressor which retails at $179 - I've actually stopped using my waves plgs since Live 7 because of the Compressor and EQ8

Yeah they gotta get the money from somewhere when updates are free for lifetime :)
