i know this is an annoying question, but can anyone tell me what qre the advantages of using this over say automap? or are you using both at the same time? does this mean that you have to run both the automap server and the mcsl (?) max patch at the same time?
thanks

If i set mackiecontrol output to "none", it's seem to be work, but the led only display "MCESL 0. ***WAIT***". When i start to play, the tempo will jump to 16260
I tested with 10.4.11.sorry,I don't know about 10.5
your remote must be recognized as "ReMOTE SL" even a ZERO SL
probably, it is caused by 10.5
tempo issue is a bug.
Please wait for a few days.

Hi Namihei,
this is excellent work... keep it up... this template and mapping is so elegant and useful. I just got my remote25sl yesterday and immediately was dissapointed by the limitations of the automap control of the daw (live), after having had experiences with mackie control emulation on other devices. I did a search in the forum and out you popped with your solution. Thanks!
I am also having problems with the transport functions: -When I hit play, the tempo shoots up to 2036 or something like that.
-I cannot control the tempo from the tempo dial.
Question: Is there a way to switch monitoring on and off from the controller? I've been arming tracks individually which allows me to get midi/audio in, but sometimes I just want to get midi or audio input, without recording when the sequencer is playing...
If you want to post the max patches I'd be glad to help work out the bugs.
thanks again...

The link is good now, thanks! I can't wait to try this out... I've been meaning to learn more about midi routing and such with max/msp, but I'm pretty new to the program. This will help greatly.

I can't seem to open the file... I wonder if this is because I'm running max/msp on windows and not macos. Any thoughts?

I found it didn't like that I was opening the file on a network path, instead of a local drive. Very interesting patch... thanks again!
