My bike is a 1999 Bianchi Giro. The wheels are Mavic Aksium Race. The components are a 105/Ultegra mix, STI. The rest is a mix of Specialized and 3TTT.
I love my bike. And my job too. I think if I ever got a real job, I'd keep this job for a few hours on the weekend just to give myself a reason to ride my bike around and dodge traffic.
i Ride yupies and people around on my pediecab.
i pull a trailer with my mountain bike (its a gary fisher opie but i've upgraded almost everything on it)
Mavic cross ride here
i'm not sure what i rode for SXSW but for ACL fest i think i did 150-180 miles in 3 days pulling people around lol.
i'll make sure and get a computer this year.
i've been doing it for 2 years now and even though i've been bitching as of late I still love it. hell i cant think of anything else i would want to do other then recording music, performing music and producing music.... i do live sound too but i'd rather not.
o and my bike is my primary mode of transportation.
Talk to attorneys, FBI, police, IRS, and other entities on the phone all day who are having trouble with access issues when using our database. I work for a global legal, news, risk management provider and talk to all walks of life who need access to info ranging from court cases and criminal records to ssn's. It can get entertaining when I have to deny them access because they can't follow simple security procedures.

where at? i drive the 5 from sac north all the time, might as well stop at your station if I can. So are you guys making any more money off these crazy gas prices? wish i had a hybrid....Johnisfaster wrote:I've inherited my parents gas station in the middle of nowhere off of interstate 5 in California. I'm currently running the business.
I used to have a lucrative job as a computer consultant but gave that up to go back to music school. Now I teach percussion part time at the local university, run a small steel band at an elementary school, and do a very small amount of computer work (gives me a phreakin headache!). I would like do more gigging on solo tenor pan (weddings, restaurants, parties & such) with backing tracks programmed in live, it seems like solo musicians can actually make a good living gigging without having a band to pay.

Till last week I was a priest (in an Anglican Church), before that a systems analyst and before that a multimedia developer.
About to spend a few months as a resident artist\musician in a chilled-out prayer community in Canada.
After that, who knows!
