That's the beauty of those CNC bastards: if the design turns out as great as I'm planning I can just run the program some more times and pass the frames on to others!
Yeah, a plasma cutter is a pretty hardcore machine. My girlfriends brother in-law uses one for motorcycle parts, which I think he has a patent for.
This plasma cutter looks like a time machine. It's a pretty intense peice of equipment that no doubt cost an arm and a leg.
Not to be creepy but when ever I see what that thing cuts the horror movie fan come out of me and I can imagine a pretty henious death scene. I know, I'm pretty juvenile that way but I can't help it.

this isn't a plasma cutter, it's just a big computer controlled wood router.

So where the hells is the 3 by 8 or 4 by 8 knob unit?!!
I want a korg mini bcr2000 dammit.
On another note, I hat it when drum/pad devices (or knobs for that matter) aren't in groups of 8. So that pad thing just bugs me because of that.

I don't think that's the case - I have run over ten controllers into one machine at one point - if you can run 16 hi-res audio channels into a usb 2 card with no problems you can certainly run at least 20 controllers without winpoop or osxpoop crapping out.

try the Nocturn with the page buttons you can flip through the pages really fast no need for more than 8 encoders, really. i have a BCR (I'm selling it) the Nocturn is 10 times faster to work with.

Nah, I want something stricly for sends that I can grab right away and not have to page through anything. Well, I don't mind going to another bank of 8 tracks or whatever, but I'd like 4 knobs per track available (sends + 1 Filter/FSU). I really like that bank of 16 knobs pitch black use, but I'm not sure if they sell that anymore. Anyways, a little compact 3/4 knob korg offering like these (and similar to bcr) would be perfect, then you could buy a few and still be compact.
I don't understand what Korg have against knobs. The pad kontrol has only 2. Now three new controlers and only one has any knobs. And only 8.....

lol - I'd say yes, but I have no clue on cost/form/paint-job/etc, so that would be a bit too sketchy
and while we all agree on everything right we may end up with differences down the road, I guess. We'll see

could you elaborate on that???? cause effectively I crashed Live many times with the x/y pad of my padkontrol...
of course numerous messages to ableton never got me anywhere with this topic..... I know it happened to other people too.

would be very relevant to find out then, if I plan on having 4 of the little xy buggers right there at the same time...
I frequently work with multiballs on the lemur, and they're nothing more than just fancy xy pads, I have never had a problem with them ( other than the fact that they're incredibly difficult to program)
