So you've got nothing at stake, and don't give a shit about your mates who do. No wonder you're waiting for it all to come crashing down. Probably pick up a nice pad on the cheap when it's all over and turn a tidy profit. Well done.

That has got to be one of the most vindictive, spiteful comments on this forum. Your parents must be so proud of you, especially as you've been bleeding them dry for god knows how many years; I bet they can't wait to see the back of you.

+1.

If only we had the discipline and values to do this ourselves, we wouldn't be in such a mess.

Hopefully, we'll learn this time around.

Actually, I come here to read up on ableton stuff, not dumbass stuff - until america figures out that this is a dumbass way of running the country, there are always going to problems, crisis, etc...shit, people complain about how the U.K. is run, and it's smaller than Texas - it's obvious there is a fucked up concentration of power in the US, and until that goes away, problems galore.

Now take this convo to the goddamn myspace politics forum, where people would love to argue/flame/troll you on the subject, and let everyone else here talk shop, pretty please.

and blame the people/institutions who trick people into those games.

dunno how it is in other countries, but this kills me... we go through school to learn reading/writing/arithmetic to get jobs to make money so we can support ourselves and yaddah yaddah... at no point in our educations are we required to take a finance class. they teach us how to make money but never how to take care of it. parents - teach your kids, open your finances to them, teach them about credit cards, show them the numbers. it's not difficult but it is a completely man made institution with rules that are not obvious.

 no, should I??

no worries, freedom of speech and all that, if people want to post bullshit there's room for it all, we can pick and choose. cool thing is that the bullshit can go on and flame wars are limited.

It all starts off so innocently when you first join then after months and years of 'what monitors should I buy?', 'logic is better than live', 'RTFM' and 'emissary is depriving a village of its idiot' you just give up and join in with the rest of the rabble.

It just sucks...if all the cool people in General would move over to Tips and Tricks, all the "OT: Politcs blah blah blah blah" douchebags would just follow them over there...fucking harsh.
