I am enjoying the dream come true I always wanted

Post by Jbo » Sat Oct 08, 2005 10:43 pm

But I truly have the most sincere of respect for anyone who has successfully managed to complete the mission I am now on, simply to finish completion of an "LP"of original compositions with which I am genuinely pleased and proud
If I do actually finish this preliminary collection and assembly of my favorites, and manage to get some facsimile of a "cd" online and for sale from my own homestead, I will breath a sigh of relief.. and begin assembling #'s2,3,4,&5 as well... and I really want to also get fixed and make dvd production instead of just cd production a part of my deal, so i can actually aim at mtv and vh-1,etc from my own "homestead"... I also hope to meet some fellow artists to team up with possibly since my home crew seems to not like my approach, midi and all that... I have friends like one in particular who could participate but, as an "almost top-notch" drummer, has opted now, to begin a career in blue-grass music as a guitar player or something like that... since there is such a shortage of them in this here Nashville area...ha ha
I must be a real prize in his view.. as I am interested in all the latest techno-everything and my compadre wants to find his "roots" and touch his instrument with his fingers on it... as he told me in stern judgement of my choice of editing and dubbing and all that stuff a "naturalist" does not use(in his view)...I am not able to educate anyone like that, not do I have any such inclination..... I am looking for a few very very good men&women.. with talent and drive and savv too.... to make into my partners in music production..
And I know that they will find me,( God-willing), and I will be at the optimum point in my life whenever(and if-ever) that does occur...
And it will depend on, as so many other aspects of my existence do , my successful and final completion of the LP/cd I keep saying I am trying to finish...and I really am doing that (I swear it)
But that is the meaning of my long-post I guess, and I have been keeping it really down to the focused thing, pretty-good, really , all I want to state is my great respect for anyone who does their own album all-alone as I am attempting to do... and with limited resources.. that is the kicker... but I do know someone must have already done it before me, with even fewer resources than I now have, so I am just talking plain as i can so i can reach persons who are reach-able and I hope to become acquainted with persons globally who feel similarly and who might be possible colaborators or at least co-conspirators... or at least to become simply acquainted for later on perhaps... I know I will be travelling, God-willing, and if I live ...I see me making my rounds..all after I complete my current undertaking this cd..

I just cannot seem to say what I really need to say but I appreciate the readers who understand I am maybe-a -bit-more than just babbl'in here

The tunes I have uploaded are not much, but I am not unhappy with any of it.. that is why I appreciate the listener who does comment about my online material...
Making sure my tunes on the lp have vocals is an added load, but I amgoing to have an lp with mostly songs that do have vocals, or that is my plan...

thanks friends and don't be too shy to comment

Not being a person that easily gets up on the dance floor.
But this felt like, if the night is late and the feel good, it could actually get me moving.

I had a go at using only Live plugs on this one.
Beat repeat and saturator rock the casbah.
Autopan is excellent for phasing.
