Yeah, same here. I was about to break. But a little rumor got me to hold out again. My best guess is that we'll see rev B in august. But it's possible that they are released sooner...

1) Ableton Live CPU Meter % (if it bounces around, please list the peak)
* 33%
2) Laptop/Desktop? Make/Model
* Desktop ASUS K4M
3) Operating System
* WIN XP Home
4) CPU Make Model and Speed
* AMD Athlon XP 3000+ / 2,17 GHz
5) Amount of Ram / Speed of Ram (if you know)

I think my percentage is as low as some quicker CPU's because I applied the tweaks found on the following page:

www.reflectivemusic.tk

Go to: Links -> "Optimize Music PC" (I advice to read the HRC-article first).

Brilliant topic and test, Adamjay. Really let's us see a benchmark for our machines.

Dual 1.8 G5 doing exactly what it was expected to do on your first post. Peaking at 49 percent. 1.25 Gigs ram, 7200 rpm HD's of course. Only running Safari and finder in the back. Live 5.2.

So... comparing this to what people are getting on their PC's... I want Live 6 Dual Processor support!!! (:

Still hope to see you in Indy sometime.
