I checked it out a last week. I actually joined his forum to ask a question about it. He really has done some excellent work with his scripts. If I do end up getting Maschine, "MST-Live' is a "no brainer" purchase. It's a must!!!!

Very. Between Maschine, Battery 3 and 4, and all of the Maschine expansions I never need to buy another drum library again lol

Nice!!!! It's a shame that didn't make my choices any easier. I was thinking of maybe just getting Push and Komplete 9. At some point, I'll probably end up with both Push and Maschine. Smdh.

I hear they are more different than the same. If you're a hardcore Live guy I am sure both will be useful. I am more of a Maschine guy.

Not that anyone cares, but I think that I am going to go with Maschine Studio. The more I research it, the more I like it. Ultimately, I'm planning on getting the Studio and Komplete. I love how well Komplete is integrated right into the Maschine hardware. This doesn't mean I don't like Push, and that I won't eventually get Push, but I just want to see it get developed a little more. Maschine is a more mature product and I think that at this point it offers more of what I want from this type of hardware/software hybrid. I'm a Live guy, so no matter what, everything will end up in Live anyway.

That's why I started this thread in the first place; to help make a more informed decision about these two controllers. I disagree with those who say they are two different things, in my opinion there is quite a lot of overlap, but of course also major differences which I tried to summarise in my 1st thread.

It's a good thing you've finally made a decision, sounds like you weighed everything up well. Maybe you could try to summarise the reasons you made your choice here as it might help others with the same dilemma.

Googling 'Push or Maschine' is currently bringing this thread up as the 1st hit.

This is exactly why I don't want maschine. I'm not interested in komplete 9, the included samples, or how it's browser system works. I primarily use my own sample libraries /select few plugs, so to me maschine's a shell and Live's more an engine....

I'm not saying that Maschine's software is better than Live, but for what I want to do, Maschine is better than Push. I want to feel like I'm using a hardware drum machine. Like I said before, in the end everything will end up in Live.

Very close to pulling the trigger on Maschine Studio myself. I think the new hardware and software update solves a lot of the issues I had with the first gen Mashcine I used to have.

Maschine 2.0 update i great Tarekith but Push with Live is a lot more mature than it was before, you might want to consider that as Maschine can be really fiddly to work well with Live

I've had a Push since they came out, and I have no desire to use Maschine with Live, it'll be standalone

That's what I plan on doing with it. It can pretty much do whatever is needed to get a song together. Then I can always export the tracks and bring just the audio files in to Live.

Maschine with Komplete is a sweet setup standalone but things do fall apart when it comes to integrating it with a DAW, it's why i was asking about controllers for Live so ican work with the audio. I think if you've got Live Push makes more sense unless you want an extra 7gb library or to work outside Live. I would have said browsing NI sounds as well but i understand you can do that with PXT General.

For those of you who haven't made a decision yet, here is another reason to go with an MK2.

That is a sick deal! But for me, someone who just bought Push and spent the weekend with it, I can't even imagine what there's to debate. If your a long time Live user, this is a Maschine killer in my opinion.
