:D How can you not imagine Japanese anime Chipmunks performing for an arena with that track?
Brilliant! Just needs a touch of Alvin.

props to the submissions. they're worth having this #$%ing #$%$ #$%ing song stuck in my head along with the "Bake A Cake" Lil John remix (my head's a horrifying place.)

FWIW the chords to this song are G Em Am D over and over, putting it in the key of D or B minor. dial up the scale plug in to D major and you should be able to figure out the melody pretty quick. or more or less stick to the notes
D E F# G A B C# (mostly white keys.)

(just killing time at work wishing I was at home playing... :? )

Actually I think it's G Major. G A B C D E F# G.

.........

But then again looking at the midi file I'm not so sure???

I'll get back

.........

OK in the midi file the Key is D major but the chords are D Bm Em A.

pretty cool!! it's on the GAS list.

I have a Martin Backpacker (nylon, waaay better than the steel version.) it's OK, or rather when you're far from home for a while and it's all you have, it's great.

yeah, you're right about the chords, the ones I posted were from a google search, I didn't think someone could screw up the chords, how lame.

Liked it - granular flex-out!
Will have to do a new mix with the audio... gets some really cool results.

It's the season of goodwill, so I've uploaded that Midi file as .als with labelled clips for your convenience. I just chucked Operator presets on the tracks and an Impulse drum kit, so you should be ready to go for your next masterpiece... Hopefully it'll save you a bit of time.

The ending's a bit funny, mind. Corrections are welcome!

Last Christmas midi template, als file is here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/s7dh2c

Enjoy!

Hey Rave,

Lets update that first page, so people don't have to dig to find all the remixes.

Here's my take on it:

http://www.arachnaut.net/audio/Last%20C ... chnaut.mp3

I didn't change the MIDI file at all, just a little help from Reaktor. The resonators make it a bit bright and thin, but I like it.
