Here's all the context you need to know: it was the set of "Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins". I hope we still get to see whatever otherworldly thespian masterpiece Christian Bale was about to concoct on that day.

I watched Equilibrium last night, a movie Bale starred in from 2002. Dystopian society where peace is maintained by mandatory daily injections of a drug to deaden all emotions. Bale plays the high Cleric of the order that prosecutes Sense Offenders. The idea is decent but it is a horrible Matrix rip-off through and through, with a way under-developed concept and lame low-budget "bullet-time" fx.

I'm sorry for recommending Equillibrium...it had it's good moments and bad moments, but was fairly cheesy. I was just using that as an example for how serious Bale takes it - to go from average weight for a sci-fi flick to emaciation for an independent flick (which had little advertising and probably the lowest pay he's ever gotten for a film) and back to a healthy weight is the kind of thing that you don't see very often from actors, especially for the low dollar amount that he was paid.

The funny thing about the Matrix is that even though the last two were absolutely terrible, Will Smith has been quoted as saying that turning down the part of Neo to act in Wild Wild West was probably one of the biggest career mistakes he's ever made.

If anyone does give a shit about Keanu Reeves, the only two movies I really ever liked him in were Scanner Darkly (killer soundtrack, btw) and Street Kings, a movie written by the screenwriter of L.A Confidential...I actually saw The Day the Earth Stood Still because I wanted to give Keanu a chance after Street Kings and Scanner, but I was obviously rooked for my money - to paraphrase Matrix 1, that guy's career is "the consistency of runny snot".

there is no way any one involved with film's daily stress level can compete with a nurse's who is dealing with life and death situations. regardless of money no ones going to die if you screw up a scene.

Nurses help doctors, they don't perform surgery or prescribe medicine, which is why I said Doctors would have it that stressful, but not nurses - nurses aren't allowed to handle life and death situations, they hand doctors whatever they ask for while the doctors handle life and death situations.

Seriously, if the nurses are prescribing medicine handling and surgery at your hospital, you should consider another hospital, as it's highly illegal for nurses to perform those tasks, at least in the states.

My mother was a nurse in busy hospital, and the only stress she caught was from unruly patients and working overtime when she needed to be picking up me and my brother from school.
