Anytime you use a psychotropic substance, the effects on individuals vary unpredictably based on numerous factors. You may think you have it down, but that will change and can do so quickly with a vengeance. It's inevitable. That's because your brain chemistry itself changes over time with respect to stored chemical bi-products in the body. It adapts like every other part of us. Pot stores itself in the fat cells of course, however, it's the brain's chemical reaction to the build up within the fat cells, in combination with the liver's process, that causes what we perceive as tolerance. Be careful and please try and "see" the fact that recreational self medication is a certain and serious risk.
Incidentally, if you had ever done any REAL acid in any real quantity my friend (I mean that), your pot experiences would seem like popping baby aspirin with respect to introspection. Real LSD is HEAVY shit and frankly, during the peak trip consisting of a 250-500 micro gram dose, you had better be in some safe and friendly surroundings. That designer JUNK that goes around on blotter is NOT acid in 99% of the cases. That garbage in and of itself can cause a LOT of unexpected neurotransmitter dysfunction. Sometimes even permanent.
Last thing and so important, music, as well as EVERY other sensory input form is 100% more enjoyable and revealing when you're on your own personal chemistry. The best buzz in the world is YOU. Get high.

Anybody seen the new show
Obsessed on A&E? Holy crap these people have some serious issues! I mean, I have some OCD quirks (does anyone not?), but these folks are truly troubled. I felt like a model of mental health after watching this show!

100% correct. Has there even been "real" lsd since the 80"s when the fbi/dea took down the last labs from the 60's?

Einstein was such "the man" in my book. His philosophies were as deep and as accurate as were his physics.
Within the schools of learning about addiction, that quote is regularly bandied about in specific reference to the insane behavior of us addicts. It's just that I honestly did not know that quote originated with Einstein. Thanks for making that known to me.

I'm not sure anyone knows where that insanity quote really came from. It's been attributed to many different people.

insanity describes nothing but a time when we were too ignorant to put a name on each disorder

I use to take wellbutrin and tried a few other over a period of a year. I relized at some point that my problems were not a chemical imbalance, as what I was being told, but life choices. I dumped the bitch I was with and said goodbye to all the loser friends who were parasites. Very shortly afterwards I felt like a new man.
I've learned I feel a whole lot better when I don't hold back, I speak my mind all the time. I have a three month rule with chicks, after that I need to go at least a month with out seeing them. I also started to date a whole lot more women.
If you have problems meeting women and dating them right off the bat I would suggest reading neil strauss's stuff. I never had trouble picking up women if I knew them for a little while but I learned how to pick them up on first encounters by reading his books and stuff, if you want to know which on is worth getting,pm me and ill look through all my old books. A lot of them I could have done with out.

Does liquid from san fran count? I suspect it probably does. I don't know what to say, I just never had any kind of problem at all with it. I understand that things can change and I can suddenly react differently, thats why I've implemented the super xanax emergency knockout plan. It's still in beta testing, but early data appears promising.
BTW, I think that the idea of humanity simply losing the technology to create real acid is simply a bunch of poo. Every old hippy in the world wants to believe that their trips are so much more epic than anyone elses. It still exists, it always will, it is NOT rocket science. Just because the old labs went down doesn't mean jack squid. I can almost follow the synth and I only have 1 year of chem. There are PLENTY of BA's in chem out there making cash on the side. Believe it.

The problem is getting ahold of the precursor chemicals, some of which are tightly monitored (at least in the US). Thus some people have resorted to an extraction from morning glory seeds in the US, but it is debatable whether you can get real LSD this way.

I was once naive enough to take some Datura (
http://www.angelfire.com/indie/anna_jones1/datura.html) on my own. Thankfully nothing
really bad happened. I decided wearing pants wasn't necessary and proceeded to wander around my parents house (I was living with them at the time, and yes, they were home) talking to all the nice people who had come to my party. Back in my room, I realised there was some tiny people behind my armchair smoking weed and not letting me have any. This annoyed me so I decided to end the party. I went round the house gathering everybody up and took them to the front door where I said goodbye to each and every one of them. By this time it was about 7am and one or two neighbours saw me naked at my front door talking to myself.
About 48 hours later I was feeling slightly normal again. The main thing my folks were annoyed about was me being naked at the front door, but they told our neighbours I had being sleep walking. I swore to them that I'd never do it again, and I meant it - although it was a rather cool experience you cross a line from having your mind opened to having it turned inside out, and this was just unbelievably heavy stuff.
The following weekend I did it again...
