this thread is ridiculous, if you aren't looking for solutions then you're crying over spilled milk and nothing else. If you want to look for solutions there are lots of knowledgeable people here willing to help but if you just want to keep bitching that it doesn't work and do nothing about it then why would you expect anyone to listen?

my theory on this matter is this: since you've had problems on so many different computers and so many different sound cards then what you're probably doing is running your cpu into the 90% range with a fat bloated set and then wondering "why does it crackle and choke up?"

if thats not what you're doing then tell us what you're using and what it is you are doing so we can help.

we aren't trying to play the blame game, the fact of the matter is most people don't experience the same problems as you are so what we are trying to do is identify what is different about what you're doing or what is different about your setup.

it's to the point where I'm really just thinking you're a troll.
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.

Maybe he's crying over spilled milk, sure, but what about you? You're crying too.

Same cycle every year.
Fixed

Sorry to hear about your probs OP. I wish I could say I'm surprised by your tales of woe.
As a few people have indicated - you'd be better off using the last version of 7. I know that's of little comfort to you, but it's the fact of the matter.

I had a real belly laugh watching that 'life as an ableton developer' vid at one section, where the grandpa coder was boasting about how ROBUST their code is. Robust ? Seriously, robust ? Ya...maybe it's robust after people have been paying for the privilege of beta testing it for a year.

imo.
