don't know why...but live creates 2 files when I load a specific set...
in 'Temp project\samples\recorded\009 MIC.wav and 0040 MIC.wav'..
each is 0bytes in size...
and live can't delete them when it exits so it stalls then gives and anoyying message..
I then delete it manually..

Crashes immediately 100% of the times I load the AU versions of IK CSR Hall, Reverse and Room. Interestingly, Plate works. They all work in 8.1. Bug reports will be filed of course.
L8.1.4 Suite, MBP Unibody 2.4 GHZ 4GB OS X 10.6.4, Apogee One, Akai LPK25, Novation Nocturn, Korg Legacy w/MS20i controller, ComboSister, Moog Modular V, Oddity, Amplitube, T-Racks, CSR, Roland TD-12, guitars and basses and whatever...

oh my god......

I don't want to blame them (more than others already did) cause I'm not this kind of guy.
I mean, I respect their job, work, etc
I have a lot of respect for the CEO (I discussed w/ him a couple of times... nice person) and especially for his "Quality" post.

but it sucks a bit these times. doesn't it?

I don't know what I may do: using 8.1.1 or waiting for 8.1.2 ..?!

Hm, anybody else got problems with Live 8.1.1 and Battery 3 on Wind XP? Somehow Live freezes and i have to kill Live via the taskmanager. :(

Never had any probs with Live and Battery 3 before.

Yeah, love the software, but we bought the L8 software in good faith that it would work,
and with the promise of- share, max for live, new live controllers, blah blah blah...........

= instability and not all delivered.

Poor show really. Maybe Live 9 will be stable and have free upgrades for those that forked out on L8.

I'm getting to the point where i dont really want to load live up anymore as i just spend the time opening and closing sets until it gets the runtime C++ error. Its like picking at a scab, you just cant help it.

hello,
do you use m4L?

I use an i7/Windows 7
I only need Live+M4L+Max (no plugin too!)

is it stable for you?

no i7, ordinary quadcore here. including max4live. no plugins else. 100% stable.
