Fair enough!

Peace

Just dont be so personal about it.

Live is just a comodity fetish

No need to bring my horse and cart into it.

As for stupidity... I bought a product and expect it to work, turns out it was a bug in the system so not really my fault. Constructive response would be better but you want to turn it into a bitching contest. I was responding to a question as to how I found live 8. Told it the way I been experiencing it, and what?

Turns out it was windows and live but I found a solution round it.

Live aint a religon, so stop being so fundementally opposed to criticism against a piece of software and get out more.

XXX

My only expectation was to expect the product to work, WTF! All other software worked without a hitch. If my expectations were over zealous thats because the cost represents certain expectations and the glossy ads do not reflect the reality that live 8 and windows 7 remain unstable. Check the forums bruv and get back to me.

I do expect my plugins to work in Live. Is that over zealous?

I guess I should be thankful that I can buy a product never mind it working.

Have you got shares or somthing?

Nah, but I know Windows 7 works just fine... if you install on it on a machine that its spec'd for.

Ableton have acknowledged their faults. Still, 8.1.1 sucks for some. Fair enough,

but this...

Nah. Microsoft are ahead of the curve for once.

which system? Live, Windows, Synergy, or NI? You named four things and said

So face it, you don't really know what caused your issues. You just picked the 2 that seem to be fashionable to blame.

You're not happy, I get that. You're right, I'm not helping. I hope you get your shit working again.

good luck.

If you saw me you would know fashion aint the issue.

Fact is there has been a software issue with the plugins folder with my set up.

you do make me laugh though cos a lot of what you said makes a funny kind a logic.

Loved the horse and cart analogy.

What about a peace treaty?

W7 and live 8 does have issues but not for you. Fair enough?

I am reserving a right to an opinion.

Make music not war!

And yes ableton does acknowledge the problems, but not in their ads...

Still would not recomend W7.

OS 10.6.2

I have been using Live 8.0.8 for a donkey's age now and have never had a crash! I ain't upgrading to a newer version of Live until I know of some logical, and beneficial, reason to do so. Live 8.0.8 has so many bells and whistles I am probably not even using half of them!!! Why upgrade to a newer, and BUGFUL, version when I am happy as a clam in the Live 8.0.8 world. I ain't lookin' for headaches, I just want to make some music and enjoy the software. Just call me CLAM-HAPPY!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D
