No doubt. Nice to know we agree on
something
Of course there is always the American "Derek Flint", but really that was just played for laughs.

i just wanted to be the first american to post that i am numb and despondent this morning. no hard results yet, but it's looking pretty grim for those of us who can't fathom living through another four years with bush as president.

well they have provisional ballots to check in Ohio (and maybe some absentee's, not sure). Bush leads Kerry in OHIO by 138,152 votes with all precincts reporting with the exception of Provisional Ballots.
The estimate of Provisional Ballots in Ohio that have not been checked/scrutinized and counted is anywhere from 175,000 to 250,000.
All we can do is hope that A) people went to their correct precincts and their provisionals will be counted, and B) most of said people voted Kerry.
If Kerry does indeed win, he'll have won the electoral vote but not the popular vote. and that would be beautiful poetic justice.

Scarey as hell isn't it? Where you get such an even split in voting and the winner does so by only a tiny margin, it calls the whole method into question if you ask me.
I really thought things were going to change this time, especially looking at how many people voted this time round. I can't quite believe my eyes this morning. Sympathies to any Americans here who didn't want Bush back, you must be so frustrated and angry.

Well, unfortunately, people tend to react a bit late (Hello P. Diddy/Eminem...), when its "too late". Good publicity for some, bitter taste for the rest, like, when you just suddenly wake up from a bad dream...
Everything is now cast, I slept 4hours and wonder if a 2nd civil war will rage w/gun owners on the other side. I pest that people are soooo blind, that those youngsters gonna vote for "nothing" that all my friends will move to Europe and canada...and that few thousand soldiers are waiting nervously to kick the shit outta some irakis (fundamentalists yes, casualties and "collateral damages' NO)
I've got a cold and this one will stay for the next 4 years.... the New York Times will be banned in January, Rap's gonna be underground again (cool) and Britney, Secretary of Kulture (Christina better suck Dick C. or else!!) and W some will have some Mighty Power.. feels like a '50s Cheap Comic Book...
morning rant..

I'm totally depressed today. I really thought a majority of americans would at least do eveything they could to get rid of Bush, if not fall in love with Kerry. But even that didn't happen as I read in this forum a lot of you guys somtimes didn't vote or voted Nader. You really think Bush and Kerry are the same ? Intellectual laziness. Many reasons to get very pessimlistic for the world's near future. A lot of my american friends are thinking to move to Europe for a while... Some of them, I know will do it for sure.

Well that just about wraps it up for God (and all other major deities) then...

kerry conceeded...bush has won. we, as a country have condoned the actions of the past four years. you may now cease any previous distinctions between the american people and their government and feel free to hate us both as one. i would appoligise, but i feel that we as america have chosen and that we should be prepared to suffer the consequences of that choice.
i can only hope that the damages to foreign citizens remains minimal.

I have lost any remaining shred of faith in democracy and the USA. I am ashamed of my homeland and I feel like I am a citizen of an Evil Empire.
