admittedly not new in a strict sense, but still...
Flanger's other albums are also top notch, and each one kinda goes in different territories than the other ones. like outer space inner space is a little more "funky" than midnight sound, which is a little more relaxed. But then you go to Spirituals and wow, there's not a single album like it anywhere. great vocal work, and this kind of old south jazzy feeling on the whole album. Flanger is great stuff
